Speaker Spotlight: Bogdan Stanache to Speak at 2025 Airport PRM Leadership Conference
Bogdan C. Stanache is a global technology practitioner, entrepreneur, and advocate for global economic development, with a strong commitment to empowering Romanian and Central and Eastern European innovators. His work consistently bridges technological advancement with regional impact.
Currently, Stanache is leading the development of a 5,000-square-meter innovation center in Craiova, Romania, set to open in 2025. This center will serve as a regional hub for best practices in IT and support early-stage enterprises as they scale and enter global markets. It will form the first phase of a larger tech park project covering approximately 20,000 square meters. Under his leadership, INNES Romania is also driving economic development research and offering educational programs that prepare people of all ages to actively participate in today’s digital economy—especially in the field of emerging technologies.
In 2024, Stanache played a pivotal role in the partnership between Web Win Group Romania, part of the WEBDILIO Group, and Ozion to implement the PRM Manager system at Henri Coandă International Airport in Bucharest. This collaboration—the first between the two companies—is a significant step toward improving services for passengers with reduced mobility (PRM) at Romania’s largest airport.
Throughout his career, Stanache has provided advanced tech solutions for a wide range of companies and government agencies around the world. His expertise spans the development of service platforms, advanced web and mobile applications, e-learning systems, and digitalisation and automation strategies across multiple industries. He has also been an early advocate for blockchain technology through his work with clients in financial services and utilities across Europe and Asia.
At the upcoming event, Bogdan Stanache will speak on the topic “Elevating Accessibility: Cutting-Edge PRM Solutions for Seamless Air Travel in Eastern Europe.” His talk will highlight how smart technologies such as AI-driven wayfinding and real-time PRM tracking can transform air travel, while also exploring universal design innovations such as barrier-free infrastructure and ergonomic solutions for diverse mobility needs, compliance with EU accessibility standards, VIP-level PRM service experiences, and the balance between sustainability and inclusivity. He will also share insights from recent success stories from leading Eastern European airports such as Otopeni Airport, and provide a forward-looking perspective on what the next decade could bring for accessibility in Eastern European air travel.
