We are thrilled to announce that Alejandro Restrepo Marino, Manager of External Affairs at IATA (International Air Transport Association), will be joining us as a featured speaker at the upcoming Airport PRM Leadership Conference on May 13, 2025.
Alejandro brings a wealth of expertise to our stage. A lawyer by training, he studied at Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá, Colombia, completed further legal studies at Universidad Carlos III in Madrid, and earned a Master’s in Air and Space Law from the prestigious McGill University in Montreal.
With over 15 years of experience at IATA, Alejandro has played key roles in areas such as security and facilitation. Based in Miami, he currently holds the position of Manager of External Affairs and is responsible for leading the association’s efforts with government authorities regarding legislative and regulatory developments in taxation, accessibility, tourism, disruptive passengers, and human trafficking across Latin America and the Caribbean.
At this year’s conference, Alejandro will deliver a powerful session on Accessible Air Travel, tackling one of the most urgent topics in our industry today.
We invite all attendees to join this important conversation and hear firsthand how Alejandro’s work at IATA is driving improvements in accessibility, and why this matters for airports, airlines, service providers, and passengers alike.
